Watermelon Suika Game is a Japanese puzzle game developed by Aladdin X. The game mixes elements of falling and merging puzzle games.

In the game, your objective is to score high by dropping fruits into a container without letting them spill over. You earn points by combining two of the same fruits to create a new one.

How to play?

The game is like a puzzle adventure where you play as Poppy, a friendly cloud. Imagine it’s a bit like Tetris but with fruits! The main goal is to drop these fruits into a box without letting them overflow from the top. If any of the fruits touch the top, the game ends.

To prevent this, you match two fruits to make a bigger one and earn more points. The goal is to create the largest fruit, the watermelon. If two watermelons merge, they disappear.

In the game, there are 11 fruits that come in a cycle from the smallest to the largest. The order goes like this: cherry, strawberry, grapes, dekopon, persimmon, apple, pear, peach, pineapple, honeydew, and watermelon. You can see the fruits on the right of the screen.

However, when you play, you can only drop the five smallest fruits into the box. The order in which you can drop these fruits is entirely random, but you get a heads-up about the next fruit that will appear one turn ahead. You can see the next fruit for dropping on the top right of the screen. So, even though you can’t choose which fruit to drop, you have a little preview to help you plan your moves.

Unlike Tetris, there’s no time limit, but the fruits bounce and roll because of physics, and sometimes they can even bounce out of the box, ending the game.

The player can see his score on the top of the screen.
