Tetris

Tetris is a classic puzzle video game where different-shaped blocks, called tetrominoes, fall from the top of the screen. Players need to rotate and move these blocks to create complete horizontal lines, which then disappear, earning points.

This popular game was developed in 1985 by Alexey Pajitnov, a soviet software engineer.

How to play Tetris?

In Tetris, geometric blocks descend from the top to the playing field. Players can rotate these blocks and must strategically place them to create horizontal lines.

The objective is to continuously form horizontal lines by placing blocks effectively in order to score points and prevent the game field from filling up.

Gameplay

Successful line formation clears blocks, making room for new ones and allowing players to extend their gameplay.

When a line is formed, the blocks on that line will disappear, and the blocks positioned above will descend to fill the vacant space. Forming a line earns you points in the game, adding to your score as you strategically clear lines and make room for new blocks.

Players cannot slow down or stop the movement of blocks but have the option to increase their speed.

Failure to create lines and clear blocks swiftly results in the game field filling up with pieces. If the cubes reach the top of the field, preventing the arrival of additional blocks, the game comes to an end

At the end of the game, your score is determined by the number of lines you successfully formed during gameplay.
