How to play?

In this game, you control two characters: Fireboy and Water Girl. Fireboy can withstand heat but can’t touch water, while Water Girl can survive in water but can’t endure heat.

The puzzles in the game are designed so that you need both characters to cooperate. You can’t clear any level without the other’s help. There’s a dangerous green goo that is harmful to both characters. If one of the characters dies then the game is over.

The image above depicts level 1 of the game. Below is the gameplay description for level 1 to assist you in understanding the game mechanics:

• Approach the yellow lever while ensuring the safety of both players.
• When either character presses the yellow lever, the yellow platform descends, allowing both characters to ascend by standing on it.
• Stepping on the pink button lowers the pink platform, which rises when the character moves away from it. This mechanism enables both characters to approach the box.
• Either character can push the box. Once done, Fireboy and Watergirl can reach their respective exit doors, clearing the level in this manner.

Once you complete a level, a new one unlocks. There are 32 challenging levels in total.

Each level inside the temple is a complex puzzle, filled with elevators, levers, switches, buttons, trap doors, etc. Your goal in every level is to guide Fireboy through the door marked with a red symbol and Watergirl through the one with a blue symbol. Both characters must reach their respective doors to complete the level successfully.

If you complete a level without collecting all the diamonds or finishing within the time limit, it will be marked with an orange diamond.

If you manage to collect all the diamonds or finish on time but miss one of the specified challenges, it will be indicated by a blue diamond.
